Grace Makosewe is dead. It’s traumatising to see such a young talent die at a stage where she was supposed to be conquering the world.

Circumstances of her death are not clear but people who were close to her detail the life of a party animal who didn’t know when to stop. According to close friends, Grace Makosewe’s death is a result of lack of discipline in her life.

Grace drunk too much alcohol and smoked Sheesha all through. This might have led to the breathing problems which are said to have caused her death. Friend reveal that some establishments which didn’t have Sheesha in their club menu had to introduce it just to satisfy Grace Makosewe.

With NACADA reports that some of the Sheesha flavours are laced with hard drugs, its not easy to rule out this as one of the causes of her death.

Grace was a former presenter at 98.4 Capital FM before being kicked out after differing with radio queen, Cess Mutungi. Grace was later to join Urban Radio in Kisumu before she was booted from the station as she and Edward Kwach were partying so hard that they couldn’t meet deadlines and deliver results to the company.

Grace later traveled for an unclear mission in Tanzania where he stayed for at least 9 months. She was later to come back to the country and join Homeboyz as the Digital Communications and Events Manager. Despite all these, Grace was never able to fully manage her drinking habits, leading her to continue staying with her parents in her 40s. She is known to have continued residing with her mother in Ngumo estate.

It’s unfortunate to lose Grace Makosewe at this stage but can we just inspire the talents we know to manage their lives well. The death of Grace should inspire us to speak to our friends who are hooked onto drugs or alcohol. We hope that Edward Kwach will return to radio soon and utilise his talents. No male presenter can  match Kerry Francis (Edward Kwach) in creativity.

How a Kenyan Living in USA and a Fake Burundian Hacker Tried to Blackmail KCB

Boniface Atika who resides in the USA complained to Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) on 8th September 2016 that someone might have unlawful access to his account number 1178315851.

Immediately after the report, sources within the KCB indicate that the bank conducted investigations and found that Atika had two accounts linked to internet banking.

Boniface’s personal USA mobile phone line was specified in the KCB system as the delivery channel for his Transaction Authorization Number (TAN), for second level authorization. On logging into the system, a unique transaction number is automatically generated for each transaction and is sent to the specified phone number through SMS. The transaction number is then keyed in into the internet banking portal and used to authorise the specified transaction.

The people who targeted Boniface Atika’s account at KCB had access to his phone number and gmail account. Must have been someone who is very close to him and resident of the USA like himself.

After investigations, KCB established that Boniface’s cellphone line was registered on to the Magic Jack VOIP services and used to authenticate the transactions. Boniface discovered the breech when he logged into his SendWave account to conduct a transaction. He was informed that he had exceeded his daily limit.

Boniface called KCB, which established that the account had been accessed and withdrawal of approximately Ksh 1 million made. The account was cleaned and only around Ksh 150,000 was in the account. After the report, the same fraudsters attempted to take Ksh 118,200 from the account. KCB was not able to freeze the withdrawals because the client, Boniface, had not finished submitting the required documentations to effect a freeze.

But KCB still deemed it fit to refund the over Ksh 118,000 which were withdrawn after the report on illegal access was made.

All these withdrawals were through the internet portal. KCB can’t be liable here.

On the allegations of massive hacking of KCB data, you are so FOOLISH to believe the shallow data provided by the said hackers. What the so called “Burundian Hacker” Chris Irakoze did was to mine phone numbers of clients posted on Twitter.

As you know with social media, some clients don’t see the need to send their phone numbers through direct messaging. They post their numbers on public Twitter timeline when reporting a case to KCB. The Chris Irakoze fellow mined these numbers and attempted to use the same to extort money from KCB. KCB so the foolishness and didn’t even see the need to engage him.

Boniface Atika need not blackmail KCB for him to get some money. KCB was willing to help him pursue the case and bring the culprits to book but Boniface has totally refused to report the case to the US police. There is strong suspicion within the anti-fraud unit in KCB that Atika might have transferred the money knowingly. This might be the case of someone stealing from himself then expecting a refund.

Instead of blaming KCB, customers like Boniface Atika need to see the need to protect their own credentials as KCB doesn’t even own the same.

Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter Assaults a Lady at an Apartment in Hurlingham, Nairobi

Nandi Hills MP (Alfred Keter) and an aspirant for a legislative seat (Nelson Kipyegon Koech) in Kericho stormed an apartment block in Nairobi to attack a lady of Chinese origin over some unclear issue. The two who drove in the Hurlingham apartment complex in a Land Cruiser, left residents amazed when the controversial MP charged at the lady who looked helpless in the whole melee.

According to residents of Touch Wood Garden apartments along Tigoni Road, the MP and aspirant arrived in the compound around midday driving Land Cruiser registration number KBX 111M. Alfred Keter then engaged the lady resident in house number C7 in heated argument before slapping her and threatening her with a gun.

Angry residents screamed forcing the MP and aspirant to flee. But he was stopped at the gate by the security who demanded to know why he was assaulting the woman. The lady feared for her life and being a foreigner, she pleaded with the guards to let the duo leave in peace. Residents who queried the lady named Lucy for information were not lucky as she refused to divulge the source of the disagreement.

We have confirmed that the Nandi Hills MP was the one who attacked the lady. After breaking the story, the MP stormed the apartment block again to soothe things out with the lady.

Mombasa Police Want to Question Chris Brown Over Reports of Assault

Police at the Moi International Airport in Mombasa wants to question American R&B artist, Chris Brown, after a Kenyan fan reported assault and destruction of property.

According to sources within the airport security, Brenda Chepkoech Sugut made reports at the station under OB number 17/8/10/2016. The case has been assigned to high-ranking CID officers who hope to have the artist record a statement.

Reports emerged that Chris Brown destroyed the phone of a Kenyan fan who loves to take selfies with the influential. While many on social media are angered by the acts of the R&B sensation, a good number of those who hoped to attend the Mombasa event demanded that Chris Brown go ahead with the event despite the allegations.

Chris Brown was convicted of assaulting Rihanna and banned from carrying a weapon in California. He was also arrested and questioned in August over allegations that he assaulted a female in his Los Angeles mansion. The arrest in LA happened after 11-hour standoff following reports that he assaulted former Miss California Regional 2016 Baylee Curran.

Chris Brown performed in Mombasa last night in a $1 million show, earning himself more than Ksh 1million ($10,000) per minute in his 90 minute appearance.

Questions have been asked on the source of the money used to fund the event as key indicators are that more than Ksh 200 million was spent on the logistics around the event.

Payments to artists were reported as follows;

• Chris Brown – Ksh 90 million
• WhizKid – Ksh 4million
• Ali Kiba – Ksh 2 million
• Vanessa Mdee – Ksh 2 million
• Nazizi – Ksh 800,000

Artists like P-Unit refused to perform after disagreeing with the event organisers on their fees. The organisers wanted to pay them a paltry Ksh 400,000, a figure which they called “insulting.”

Chris Brown loved the money he was paid that he couldn’t even perform. He was just lip syncing.

Questions have also emerged on the character and background of the Wale Wasee team as they figure behind the event, Thandi Ojeer is reported to be a known extortionist. She is reported to be a former girlfriend of French football star Claude Makelele. Thandi was booted by the star over allegations of infedility and violence.

Thandi is also the woman who followed President Uhuru to Abu Dhabi and decided to take a selfie with the President.

University of Eldoret Student Leader Attempts Suicide Over Frustrations in Campus

The President of University of Eldoret (UoE), Edgar Kisinya Agonya, attempted suicide early Tuesday  in campus after being suspended by the college administration for fighting for the welfare of students.

The student leader is currently fighting for his life at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret after the ordeal.

Edgar left a suicide note which read;

We lose ourselves when we compromise the very ideals that we fought harder to defend.And we honour those ideals by upholding them not when its easy,but when its tough….I was born not to condone injustices but to condemn injustices.I didn’t vie for chairmanship to seek popularity or wealth or favour or scholarship but I vied with a clear purpose of changing the attitude students have towards UoE,I wanted fellow comrades to be proud of our institution. An attitude that the management itself has engineered in the minds of the students.I hate to see liberal minded young energetic citizens being reduced to primary kids.I wanted a University that would expose the mind of a student and not just confining him or to the Chep environment. I would be a proud chair seeing articles in news papers by UoE students.

I wanted a university where decisions are not made by management on behalf of students.
I hate seeing policies being imposed on students.
I hate seeing students suffer under my leadership.
I hate masters of tribalism. I hate everything intended for  the students without the students.
I couldn’t stand the SGC losing meaning under my tenure for I saw it being reduced to nothing….

I have fought against the managements injustices but unfortunately bribe has become the order of the day….Someone tell the Dp Ruto that the son of a peasant farmer has no voice in Kenya.

Word quickly spread around the campus that the student leader was dead with tension rising among the students. But his colleagues in the Student leadership council clarified that he was still alive. The Secretary General wrote a note to student which read;

This is to confirm to all comrades that our chair has been missing since morning on uncorfirmed  truth of his demise. Finally I can confirm to you that Edgar is alive and undergoing treatment at MTRH. I’ll keep you posted about his condition shortly. Kindly maintain peace and order as we work round the clock to reveal the whole truth before the end of the day.

A paedophile has taken to social media to celebrate the fact that he had sex with a STD 4 girl. The man who goes by the name Mohammed Alfayo, took to his Facebook page and posted lewd photos of him and the said girl after having sex with her.

The man who seems to be disturbed has his Facebook timeline full of posts celebrating his sexual escapedes with old women and minors.

Kenyans on social media are demanding that the paedophile be arrested as parents of young girls demand that they be shown where the man is so that they can teach him lessons.
