#MusicOfHate: Ethnic Hatred and Emotion Whipping in Another Kikuyu Music Album

Over the weekend I was in Nyandarua County, Nyahururu town on a work mission , and I came across this Kikuyu Music by a guy walled “ Sovinga Wa Bibiana” , which is using very graphic images of violence, that to me look like Rwanda Genocide. This music is being sold to the rural areas and the singer has created a scene like that’s how PEV was and unless the Kikuyu Community comes back together, it will be the same.

The music has the message that the would hasn’t healed.

I have to warn you, when watching this song in Particular called “ Ciiira Wa Kagondu”, which translates to the court case of the sheep. The video is very graphic, showing a child being killed by breaking his ribs and a mother being slashed….( be warned…it gave me a running stomach). Its 20 times worse than the photos exhibited for PEV.

Every other song is extremely tribal and I am confident saying so because I have a good understanding of the Kikuyu Language

The effect of this guys music is that the CD is whipping up people’s emotions, ESP a revenge feel.

Carol if there is a way this music can be picked off the market and this guy charged for the crime, you would really have helped. The political intolerance is at a key high in ESP Central kenya and this is only making it worse.

The name of the Album is “ Ciira Wa kagondu “ by Sovinga Wa Bibiana. If you cant get a copy, am ready to give you mine you have a look.

Reports of Racism at Razco Ltd along Baba Dogo Road

I received this mail. I don’t have much info about the company. Calls are not being answered and the author of the email has not got back to me. Read and judge for yourself

I would like to expose a case of modern day apartheid right here in Kenya. This happens at Razco ltd, Baba Dogo Road, the makers of Lyons Maid ice cream. Last Saturday, the Managing Director Mr. Raza Jagani TOLD ONE OF THE WORKERS THAT INSTEAD OF HELPING AN AFRICAN, HE WOULD RATHER HELP A DOG!  He was asked on Monday 7/1/2013 if he made the statement and he again affirmed that he said so. 

Razco salaries are a case of skin colour determining how much one gets paid. The Asians who are managers earn 150,000 Kshs and above (tho some are semi-literate) while the African Managers get 35000 and below. Sample this:
